Prof. C. Taccioli has a Master degree in "Molecular Biology", a PhD in "Pharmacology and Molecular Oncology" and a BS.C in "Biostatistics".

He has previously worked at the University of Bologna, University of Ferrara, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, The Ohio State University and University College London

He's actually an Associate Professor at the University of Padova.

I'm involved in National and International collaborations and projects focusing on:

- Cancer genomics and epigenomics in animal models
- Transposons and evolution
- Genetic disorders in animal models

The language programming used for bioinformatics analyses are:

During this course the students will acquire a broad knowledge on the bioinformatics tools currently available that are relevant for the Biotechnologist for food Science.
